Latest update on the world cup calendar

Things are slowly getting back to normal in most parts of the world, but the covid-19 pandemic has influenced the competition calendar in pretty much every sport world wide. Trials is no exception, and here’s the current information from UCI.

The latest news from UCI, is that the three first word cups planned for 2020 are cancelled, as well as the youth games planned to be held from July 31st to August 2nd in Cordon (France). The cancelled world cups were planned to be organized at the following locations and dates:

  • Salzburg (Austria): July 2nd-4th
  • Val di Sole (Italy): July 24th-26th
  • Lenzerheide (Switzerland): August 13th-15th

Bashguardian will follow up with information about the world cups planned in Wadowice (Poland) in September and Il Ciocco (Italy) in October once UCI provides this. There are no information about the 2020 UCI Urban Games yet.
