Clean signs Pechhacker & Hlavatý

Clean has strenghtened its worldcup team by signing two of the best 20″ riders in the world: The 2018 elite 20″ world champion Thomas Pechhacker (24) from Austria and the 12 times Slovak Champion Samuel Hlavatý (20).

Thomas Pechhacker joins Clean after one season with Maestro. Thomas is regarded as one of the most powerful competiton trials riders, and had his absolute peak when he won the 2018 elite 20″ world championship finale in Chengdu. In 2019 he got fifth at the same race.

Whenever I have tried a Clean bike before it felt really comfortable for me. Mainly because the frame gives more response and the slightly lower BB […than the Maestro]

Thomas Pechhacker on why he likes the Clean bike

Samuel Hlavatý is no stranger to the Clean brand. He has been riding the bikes through a flow sponsorship earlier. This year he got offers from several brands, and could thus negotiate with Clean to get better terms. He puts it this way: “I wanted to stay with Clean, so after some talks we finally made a good deal“.

Well the bike feels great! Obviously! There are some small improvements on the frame and we finally got through axles.

Clean had already one of the strongest teams before the signing of Pechhacker and Hlavatý, with riders such as Benito Ros, Ion Aretio, Clement Meot, Noah Cardona, Dominik Oswald, Manon Baseville, and last but not least, their founder and multiple world champion, Abel Mustieles.

Editor in chief. I'm a pro trials rider and six times Norwegian champion. I've been riding for almost 20 years! I founded Bashguardian because I love this sport and I like writing. Simple as that!
